How It All Started
Founded in 2004 by Capt. David Abreu, the company is a family business, dedicated to boat trips, with our 2 vessels, the Beluga Submarine-glass bottom boat and our Game Fishing boat, doing Capt. David´s Sport Fishing Charters.
Capt. David started his journey working on boats in 1994, at the age of 18, mainly on Big Game Charter vessels fishing for Blue Marlin and Tuna.
The idea of a glass bottom boat first emerged in 2003, then, at the age of 27, after one and a half years off the ocean, recovering from an accident, David started working for himself, with a sailing yacht, taking people out, doing daily trips, sailing and searching for dolphins and whales. While doing these trips, since he was out of commission for so long, he took advantage of any time they found any species of dolphins, whales, sharks, turtles, or any marine animal that they would encounter, and he would get in the water, to be able to see them under the surface. After being in the water with so many amazing species, came the idea of a glass bottom boat, to give people the possibility to see some of the same magnificent animal. So, in 2004 Capt. David purchased from a factory in Italy a band new glass bottom boat that he baptized the Beluga Submarine, and so the journey started.
